APPEALS IN THE COUNTY COURT, COURT OF APPEAL AND HIGH COURT OF AUSTRALIA
We have assisted in the successful appeals of decisions of Magistrates to the County Court. Such appeals can include appeals against a sentence imposed or against the finding of guilt. Similarly, we have been involved in appeals to the Victorian Court of Appeal on important questions of law.
Criminal Prosecutions
We regularly act on behalf of government departments in bringing prosecutions for offences under legislation such as the Health Services Act, the Food Act and the Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act.
